Carolyn McClain

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents James and Willie Dean Hewitt; her second spouse O.D. McClain; and her first spouse Bobby Shelby. She is survived by her daughters Sheila and her husband Jerry O'Neill, Rhonda and her husband Keith Colbert, sons Bobby and his wife Monica Shelby, James Shelby, Brian McClain and his wife Tina, step-daughter Vickie Christ; step-son Lowell and his wife Ruth McClain; 11 grandchildren; numerous amount of great grandchildren; and brother James and his wife Pat Hewitt.

A visitation for Carolyn will be held Friday, November 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Friday, November 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A committal service will occur Friday, November 19, 2021 at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.

Serving as pallbearers are Jeremy O’Neill, Mark O’Neill, Todd Colbert, Cody Shelby, Tyler Mosley, Logan Mosley, Devin Moore, and J.R. Hewitt.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Bobby Shelby, James Shelby, Brian McClain, Jerry O’Neill, Keith Colbert, and James Hewitt.
