Carolyn Delois Blair

She was born October 15, 1941 in Hohenwald, Tennessee to parents James Henry and Verna D. James-Garrison. Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend that will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her. She is survived by her children: Tina Blair Wilkinson and her husband Curtis Lee and Trish Blair Horacek and her husband Rudy; grandchildren; Kimberly Kendrick, Christy Wilkinson and Tiffany Wilkinson; seven great-grandchildren; siblings: Donna and Bill Owen, Glen and Callie Garrison, Onis and Joyce Garrison and Johnnie Garrison. Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband Billy “Joe” Blair; parents; and siblings: Lanis Garrison, JW Garrison and Ray Garrison.

The family will receive friends for a visitation Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2016 in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home followed by a burial at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038 with a gate time of 1:00 PM.
