Carlos Francisco Lozano, 41, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend to many, entered eternal rest June 6, 2023 surrounded by the loving care of family. He was born May 24,1982 in Houston, Texas to Salome and Maria Belen Lozano. A lifelong Houstonian, Carlos graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School. On February 14, 2003, he married his high school sweetheart and lifelong partner, Cecilia Lopez Lozano. Carlos worked in the HVAC industry as a Technician for APS Building Service. He was a member of the Certified Car Club and had a passion for spending time with family and friends, grilling, hog hunting, attending car meets, and caring for animals, especially his dogs and his friend's horse. He is preceded in death by his loving and amazing father, Salome Lozano.
Carlos was the loving husband of Cecilia Lozano, devoted father of Stefani Josephine Lozano, beloved son of Maria Belen Duarte, cherished brother of Maria Eugenia Daheri, Arturo Carreon, Ubaldo Castillo, Felipe Heredia, Cristino Lozano, Ignacio Lozano, Jose Lozano, and Antero Lozano; dedicated son-in-law of Agustin and Denise Lopez; memorable brother-in-law of Loretta and Mercedes Lopez and caring uncle of multiple nieces and nephews, specifically those he grew up with like Liliana, Hugo, Sofia, and Shahbaz.
A visitation for Carlos will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service will occur Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM, with a committal service immediately following at Forest Park Lawndale. A reception will occur from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the Magnolia Suite at the funeral home.
The family of Carlos would like to thank all their support systems, including Certified Car Club, APS and especially Service Corporation International for all their support. A special thanks to his sister Maria for sacrificing her time from work and family to care for him until the end.
