Cari was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. She was a proud graduate of Florida State University, where she met the love of her life, Chris. She knew at a very young age that she would have a career in interior design. Cari was proud of her many professional accomplishments; notably, her work with PDR on the Exxon Mobil campus in Houston, and personally helping her many friends and loved ones with design decisions. Cari had a passion for all aspects of design, having an eye for style in everything she encountered.
Cari was a foodie, had a love of music, was an avid traveler of the world, and had a secret desire to be an astronaut. Cari was the most loving and thoughtful wife, daughter, sister, cousin, niece, and friend to all those she held dear. She especially loved her role as godmother to Mac (Amelia and Collin McLeod) and Ronan (Eimear and Jon Bridges), who brought her much joy, especially in her final days. Above all, Cari treasured her life with Chris and her precious ESA, Gertie, who both loved and cared for her deeply.
She is survived by her husband, Christopher Koch, mother, Cathy Catanzaro, and stepfather, Ed Catanzaro, father, Alex White, and stepmother, Gail White, and brother, Bradley White, along with her Abuela and loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Houston, Texas at the McGovern Centennial Gardens - Cherie Flores Garden Pavilion, at 10:30 am on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022.
