Bonnie Brown

Bonnie was born in Houston, Texas in December of 1949 to Bonner and Margaret Jackson. She graduated from Bellaire High School and then attended the University of Texas where she met James Brown, the love of her life and husband of forty-eight years. After college, she continued her career as a violinist in the El Paso and Santa Fe symphonies. After eight years of marriage, Bonnie and her husband welcomed their first and only child into their lives. Bonnie continued her joy of music by sharing her passion with her daughter. Bonnie was a very thoughtful, loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who thrived on bringing joy to others.

Bonnie was accomplished at piano and violin. She loved to play other instruments as well. She was a generous woman with conviction and was passionate about music, horses, and taking care of others.

Bonnie is survived by her husband James Brown, daughter Tanya Krolls, son-in-law Don Krolls, grandchildren Kayla, Connor and Chloe Krolls and sister Loretta Betts. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents Bonner and Margaret Jackson.

A small graveside service will be held on April 22, 2020 at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
