He was the Co-Founder/ Owner of Eastex Forest Products since 1964. Bobbie was a successful leader in the lumber business. He hosted many hunts and raised cattle at his Ranch in Menard, Texas. He loved all animals, especially his cows (AKA his girls) and cats. Bobbie was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by Ruby Jean; children, Denise Lamberson, Patti Goodman, B.J. Coburn and husband Clint, Bobbie Schiel Jr., and Linda Lou Gramling; grandchildren, Paul Edward Goodman, and Taylor Coburn; great grandchild, John Landis Lamberson; parents, Erwin, and Hattie Schiel; brother, Bud Schiel; sister, Shirley Harbor.
Bobbie is survived by his wife, Judy Schiel; grandchildren, Jamie Lamberson and family; Chris Lamberson and family; Vincent Goodman and wife Lisa and family; Jack Lamberson, April Barton and husband Billy and family, Cody Coburn, Cassie Peters and husband Roger and family; step children, Shan Stanley and wife Jennifer and family, Danny Stanley and wife Sherry and family, Michelle Stanley and husband Toney and family, Denise Stevens and husband Joe and family; sister-is-law, Diann Schiel.
Serving as pallbearers are Vincent Goodman, Chase Lamberson, Cody Coburn, Joseph Stanley,
Paul Goodman II, Mitch Goodman, Matthew Barton, and Billy Barton.
A visitation for Bobbie will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Brookside Funeral Home.
