Born in Littleton, Colorado on May 19, 1961, Beverly Young began her journey through life. Beverly was the only daughter to Richard and Phillipa Young. At a very early age she showed her passion for helping others. She was always a hard worker and very proud to be a Rebelette drummer at Westbury high school. She attended Texas Women’s University as well as Sam Houston State University. Throughout her young adulthood, she cared for children by buying clothing, shoes, and by offering her time to those in need. She always had a nurturing spirit and a desire for motherhood. At the age of 24, she adopted her eldest son Shane. Soon after that she became a foster parent and began fostering children who were unable to be cared for by their own family. She was a devoted foster mother to hundreds of children over a 21 year period. Her children were her pride and joy. She was a member of Quail Valley Church for 15 years and instilled the teachings of Jesus and the Bible into each one of her children. She is survived by her mother, Phillipa Young, three brothers, eleven children, two grandchildren, and one niece.
