Betty and J. P. enjoyed spending time at their “weekend” house near Lake Livingston. Later they sold the Lake House and bought a Bay House at Tiki Island to spend their weekends. Lots of good times boating and fishing with family and friends. Later they made a decision to sell the Bay House and purchase a RV. They had many adventures traveling in their RV along with their RV friends. Some of her favorite trips were to Big Bend, Graceland, Epcot, and Branson.
Betty was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. For many years in March, she would participate in preparing cookies and food for the St. Joseph’s Altar. Her fig cookies were the best.
Betty and J.P. always welcomed family, friends, and neighbors on W. Bend Drive to stop by for a visit. If you came to visit, she would greet you with “Can I get you anything?” She would immediately offer you a “drink”, “snack”, or “dessert”. Betty loved to read. She enjoyed reading mysteries.
Betty was loved by everyone that had the good fortune to know her and will be greatly missed by her family and loved ones, especially J.P.
