It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved patriarch, Bernardino Adame Lozano. He was born on May 20,1922 and passed away on December 7, 2022 at the age of 100 years. Preceded in death by parents, Aristeo and Maria De Jesus Lozano; his wife of 66 years, Virginia Lozano, and 12 Siblings. Survived by sisters, Mary Tamaz, Lupe Martinez, and Carmen Vasquez and her husband, Gilbert. His children, daughter, Bertha Montemayor and her husband, Charles; son, Joe Lozano and his wife, Gloria; daughter, Lillian Starnes; son, Alfred Lozano; son, Paul Lozano and his wife, Debbie. Along with 24 Grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. He was born in Jamay, Jalisco, Mexico and came to the US at the age of 2. In 1945 he served in the Navy at the end of WWII. After his parents passed, he along with some of the older siblings, finished raising his younger siblings and would not allow his family to be separated. He married in 1953 and started his own family. With great pride he became a US Citizen in 1961. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a hard worker and tried to instill in his family the same values he lived by. He was loved and respected by all. He will be truly missed.
A visitation for Bernardino will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A rosary service will occur Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A committal service will occur Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
