Beatrice Vela Hernandez,85, of Spring, Texas passed away February 2, 2022, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by family at the home of her daughter in Spring, Texas. She was born in Houston, Texas on June 26, 1936.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fidel and Chonita Vela, brother, Edward Vela, and sons, Lee and Nick Hernandez.
She is survived by her spouse of over 66 years, Edward G. Hernandez. She is survived by children, Julie Delgado, Anthony (Mercedes) Hernandez, Victor Hernandez and daughter-in-law, Rita Hernandez and Dolores Hernandez. She is also survived 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind one brother, Jesse (Evelyn) Vela of Las Vegas, Nevada.
