Barbara G. Scoggins, devoted daughter and loving mother and grandmother, left to be with the Lord on the 27th of November, 2017. Married once, to James Harold Scoggins, Barbara was the sole child of Sydney J. Granger and Frances E. Washichek. She leaves behind her son David, daughter-in-law Amy and grandson Robert—as well as daughter Donna, son-in-law Kelvan Musgrave and grandson Mason.
A graduate of Reagan High School (Class of 1951), Barbara was a real estate professional and proud Houstonian who loved everything about the Bayou City. Family tried to coax her away, but her passion for her hometown was equal to her enjoyment of fine cuisine, her pleasure in great love stories, and a feisty spirit that most will never forget. Proud, beautiful and fiercely loyal, Barbara was loved and will be missed. Her family takes comfort in the fact that she is at peace now, and no doubt reunited in heaven with her parents as well as the lifelong friends she sorely missed.
Private family services will be held.
