Baldemar was born in Houston, Texas on April 21, 1968 to Maria Martha Barron and Roberto Barron. He entered this world a few minutes after his twin sister Baldemirna (Myrna) Barron. From an early age, you would always find him rebuilding his bicycles to make them better and getting into mischievous things with his older brother and neighborhood kids. He was known for running around the neighborhood and rarely would you find him at home. He ran track, played football and baseball. He graduated from Austin High School in 1987 and started his electrical apprenticeship at the HJATC School.
Baldemar spent his twenties taking trips with friends, fishing, grilling, working on restoring his ‘67 Camaro and enjoying the lake or river. His social circle was continuously growing. He was the epitome of work hard, play harder. He was loved by everyone whose life he touched. Unknowingly, one of his friends would become his future wife.
In 1991 Baldemar joined Britain Electric where he worked and dedicated his time for 33 years. Despite the early and long work hours, he always made time to spend entertaining family and friends. The trips, fishing, grilling, restoration of his ’67 Camaro (which was never ending) and enjoying time at the lake or river continued throughout his life, but never at the frequency he wanted. He was a devoted husband, father and shared his passion for music, cars, sports, and fishing with his wife and kids. When he wasn’t sharing his passions, he was helping family, friends, and neighbors. Baldemar became known as everyone’s favorite handyman. His welcoming energy, infectious smile and can-do attitude pulled everyone in; friends eventually became a second family.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 27 years, Adriana Castillo Barron, daughter, Iliana Ashley Barron, son, Luke Adrian Barron, and dog, Bailey.
Baldemar is also survived by brother, Robert Barron, Jr.; brother, Paul Samaniego and wife Linda Samaniego; brother, John Barron; sister, Rosalinda Barron; sister, Martha Emma Adame and husband, Jon Adame; twin sister, Myrna Alonzo and husband, Robert Alonzo along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Maria Martha Barron and Roberto Barron, sister-in-law’s, Diamond Barron and Mildred Barron, and nephew, Danny Barron.
