He was born on December 13, 1934 in Hallettsville, Texas to the late Rudolph Frank Peters and Josphine Dymacek Peters of Houston, Texas. Those left to cherish his memory include: His beloved wife of 30 years, Larraine Peters.

His children: August E. Peters & wife Katherine Peters, Mary P. LeMond, Lanita G. Galindo, Albert R. Peters & wife Mellyn Peters, Darren Schluter & wife Cindy Schluter, Laura Hobbs & husband Mike Hobbs

and numerous grand children and great grand children.
