Arthur Wayne Curry, was born on April 1, 1948. “Wayne believed in giving selflessly and wholeheartedly, he Dedicated and gave his life to something bigger than himself.” Wayne’s love for life did not come to an end with his death. Wayne went home to be with his Lord & Savior on Feb. 2, 2022, at the age of 73 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest. Wayne was married 53 yrs., to the love of his life Sharon. Together they raised two wonderful children. The simplest pleasure in life brought him, great joy; living for his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was his greatest blessings.
He is preceded in death by his Father: William Arthur Curry, Mother: Norma Faye Curry, Sister: Elizabeth Williams, Brother: Harold Wayne Curry. Left to live out his legacy, his wife & love of his life: Sharon Curry, Daughter: Melissa Lanning & (husband) Chris, Son: Kevin Curry & (wife) Jodi, Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren: Christopher, Adam, Shelby, Hallie, Austin, Katelyn, Kylee, Miyah, Carter. Along with numerous Nieces and Nephews, Family and Friends. Brother: Mike Curry & (wife) Mary.
Serving as pallbearers are Adam Parker, Christopher Curry, Theron Sievers, Vern Bradford, Ron Davis, Leon Diaz. Serving as honorary pallbearers Mike Curry, Joe Robinson and Chris Lanning.
Visitation for family and friends will begin on Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 6pm-9pm. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 12pm. Interment to follow in Houston National Cemetery.
