Armando R Casas

He was 50 years of age when he died unexpectedly on August 14, 2021.

Rene was a composer of music and he enjoyed playing the guitar. He was someone who never allowed anyone to dictate his life and daily schedule. He was also someone who enjoy life to the fullest no matter the circumstances. Since the day he entered this world and took his first breath he was fearless and would face any adversity. He also enjoyed barbecuing and fishing and nice cold beer.

Any who knew him , can say he was funny and enjoyed a good loud laugh himself.

Rene was born on December 13, 1970 in McAllen Tx. To his parents Armando Casas and Amelia S. Casas. He married Dara Denise Laughlin on December 3, 1992.

Rene is survived by his mother Amelia S. Bustillos and step-father Manuel Bustillos; siblings Susanna M. Casas, Priscilla Casas and Michael A. Casas; his daughter Amanda Rene Laughlin Casas; son Alec Isaiah Casas along with his grandchildren Kaitlynne Jean granddaughter & Sebastian Isaiah is grandson. Many aunts and uncles and cousins, nephews and nieces and friends who loved him. His best friend Chris Acosta who was more than a brother to him.

His is predeceased by his father Armando Casas; brother Alex Casas and wife Dara Denise Laughlin Casas .

A visitation for Armando will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
