Antonio graduated from San Benito High School. He met Ofelia Munguia in Houston, Texas and married on October 15, 2003. Antonio had a career as a Mechanic at Union Pacific for 40 years. He was a member of Christian Faith and had a passion for family, faith, and fishing.
Tony was a beloved father and husband. He had a big heart and loved his family and his dogs dearly. On the day he met the love of his life, he also come to know Lord and remained a man of great faith the rest of his life. He was a loyal man, a church member, a cowboys fan, and veteran of the Armed Forces of the United States. Tony passed peacefully from this life into the loving arms of the Lord, surrounded by his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Juanita Torres; sister, Amelia T. Torres; brothers, Ramiro Torres, and Juan Jose Torres.
Antonio is survived by his children, Linda Torres, Dalia Torres, Claudia Torres, Rene Torres, Mario Rodela (Katherine Rodela), Michael Rodela (Reyna Rodela), Isabel Guzman (Hermes Guzman), and Jessie Rodela (Anastasia Rodela); grandchildren, Daniel Torres, Nicholas Torres, Anthony Torres, Rene Torres, Jonathan Rodela, Jada Rodela, Michelle Rodela, Ashley Sloan, Nicholas Guajardo, Christian Alejos, Isaiah Alejos, Angelica Rodela, Jessie Rodela III, Jessica Thompson, and Angel Rodela; and 6 great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Jessie Rodela Jr., Jessie Rodela III, Angel Rodela, Mario Rodela, Jonathan Rodela and Hermes Adonay Guzman.

A visitation for Antonio will be held Sunday, November 5, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Monday, November 6, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A burial will occur Monday, November 6, 2023 at 11:15 AM at Houston National Cemetery, Houston, TX.
