Antonio Castaneda, was born on May 17, 1928 and passed away peacefully on August 30, 2011. He is preceded in death by his father Jose S. Castaneda and his mother Josefa O. Castaneda and Lucita Castaneda. He is survived by his wife Mary D. Castaneda of 63 years and children; Lydia Castaneda - Price, Antonio O. Castaneda Jr. (Emma), Eva Castaneda, Rudolph Castaneda (Carol), Mary Lucy Romero ( Ramiro), nine grand-children and twelve great grand-children, brothers; Gabriel (Velia), Jose (Martha), and Sam (Cathy), uncles; Ellis, Tony, and Frank Orozco and numerous nephews and nieces.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 2, 2011 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home from 5-9pm with a prayer service to begin at 7pm. Funeral service will be on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 3pm with interment to follow.
