He was, most of all, a devoted and loving father to his son, Nyle. He attended both Lee High School and Strait Jesuit College Preparatory and graduated in 1992. Subsequently, he received his diploma from Southwest Texas State University. He worked as a recruiter for education throughout his many years. Anthony also was a big sports fan of the Houston Texans and Houston Dynamo and had a personal passion for martial arts.
He is survived by his mother, Joanne Morales Linden and her husband, Peter; and his father Ralph Rodriguez. Additionally, he is survived by his son, Nyle Alexander Rodriguez; his brothers, Joseph Michael Rodriguez; Christopher Linden and his wife, Suzanne; and his sister, Kimberly Ann Rodriguez, and her husband, Tino Macias; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends are cordially invited to gather with the family and share remembrances from six o’clock until eight o’clock this evening Friday, the 23rd of August, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston, where the recitation of the Holy Rosary is to commence at seven o’clock.
A Memorial Mass is to be offered at half-past one o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 24th of August, at St. Michael Catholic Church, 1801 Sage Road in Houston, where the Rev. Douglas Guthrie, Parochial Vicar, is to serve as the celebrant. Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception to be held in a venue to be announced at the service.
In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
