Annie Marino, age 87, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015. Born in Houston, Texas, she was a compassionate and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and going to the casinos and playing Bingo with her daughters. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, John Joseph Marino. Survived by daughters, Roseanna Mensik and husband Donnie, and Joanna Orlando and husband Louis; grandchildren, John Thomas Martin, Kristy Briscoe and husband Michael, Louann Pereira and husband Andre; great grandchildren, Brendon Martin, Brooklyn Martin, Branson Martin, Micah Briscoe, Owen Briscoe, Julia Pereira, and Kate Pereira; sister, Madlyne Marino and husband Frank; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 31, 2015 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 4918 Cochran St., Houston, Texas 77009.
