God blessed Lynn and Bill with Anna on October 6, 1999 when she was born in Columbus, GA. Anna went home to live eternally with God on September 11, 2023, as the result of a car accident. Anna had a passion for life and loved her family, friends, and animals boldly. A testament to this is her legacy of always helping others sacrificing her own needs, even for those she didn’t know so well. She had a beautiful soul that radiated joy and compassion for all. Anna didn’t judge, she loved unconditionally. Anna had a gift for making everyone feel as if they were the most important part of her life. Anna was the kind of friend that the world needed. Anna’s faith in Jesus was lived daily whether she spoke about him to others or not, she simply chose to love others they way she felt we all should live our faith.
Part of Anna’s zest for life was evident in her practical jokes and wicked sense of humor flavored with her encouraging sarcasm, but she also stood up for herself and others knowing that we all deserve to be treated with dignity and grace. She shared a special relationship with her long-term boyfriend Skylar Baer.
In addition to helping raise and care for several dogs, about 6 cats, a parrot, and numerous outside critters. She dearly loved riding and working with horses, cattle, and all the show animals in the rodeo. She joined the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo “as soon as she could get there”, at age 16. She was a member of the Junior Rodeo Committee and then joined the Breeders and Greeters Committee where she served for 3 years. Anna also was passionate about music, music festivals, travel, and cooking, especially when shared with friends.
Anna was currently finishing her paralegal certification and had an interest in a legal profession to advocate for other people.
Anna was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church and was active in EYC in her early teens. Later she was youth counselor and led teens at 2 church camps.
Anna is survived by her parents Bill and Lynn Holloway; her birth mother, Brittany Benoit; her aunts Ann Holloway, Charlyn Brown (Murphy), and Georgann Maggio; uncles Murphy Brown and Timothy Holloway. She is also survived by numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by grandparents; William and Patricia Holloway, Charles Bennet Patterson, Morris and Evelyn Patterson; and cousins P.J. Johns and Marikate Maggio.
