Anita Thompson, born May 29, 1939 passed away October 16, 2011 surrounded by her family. She will be greatly missed by her children, Sons: Joseph P. Thompson wife Ira, Pearlee H. Thompson Jr. Wife Val,. Dauthers: Mary M. Allen and Brenda M. Thompson,.Grand childen Ebony McGown. Samuel Thompson, Megan and MIYA Thompson, Steven Thomas, Brandon Allen, Jousha Allen ,Christopher Allen, Nico Barderas, Jerren Thompson, Brooklyn Hooie. (3) step grandchildren Brodrick, Roshell and Nene, and several grandchildern.

Anita was one of (14) sibblings her Farther - Gregory valatain Guillory - Mother Verlie Guillory gave birth to her in the state of louisanania were she learned her family values of love education and hard work she ventured away from home with one of a older sister landing in third ward, houston tx were she met and fell in love with Pearlee H. Thompson Sr.. After raising four kids she continued with her education attending massie business college. Worked for Exxon Chemial/and the Harris county sheriffs office. Started her home Business as a Child Care Center Proivder until she retired.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm Friday, October 21, 2011 at Brookside Funeral Home with a rosary to begin at 7:00 pm in the chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am Saturday, October 22, 2011 at St. Gregory the Great Church, 10500 Nold Rd. Houston TX 77016. Rite of Committal will be at Brookside Memorial Park.
