Angelita Gutierrez Cardona was born January 10, 1955 in Houston, Texas to Aurelio Gutierrez and Maria Torres Gutierrez. A lifelong resident of Houston, “Angie” transitioned peacefully on September 27, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer and ascites.
Angie is survived by her husband, Cecilio Gandar Cardona III, whom she married on August 29, 1986. She is also survived by her children Frank Espinoza, Veronica Espinoza, Eric Cardona, Anthony Cardona, Cecil B “Junior” Cardona, Mark Cardona, and Steven Cardona; as well as twelve grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren with one on the way.
Angie will be remembered for her humor, kind selflessness, and a life lived in service to others.
A visitation for Angelita will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 9am to 9pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston,TX 77003.
