Her four feet nine inch stature could not belie the size of her heart. She was always quick with a smile, a hug, and an invitation to her next birthday party. She enjoyed playing slot machines and Uno, singing, dancing, striking a pose for the camera, and riding at the front of the Metro Lift bus. She was a proud Special Olympian who won numerous medals for track and field. She also enjoyed going to a good party at any time.
She joins her grandparents Joe and Mary Lapaglia, Pete and Fene DeCola, and her Aunt Maria Lapaglia. She is survived by her parents, Carl and Phyllis Lapaglia, her two older brothers, Christopher and Thomas Lapaglia, her sister-in-law Elisa Lapaglia, her niece and nephew, Bethany and Ian Lapaglia, Uncle Ronnie Lapaglia, Uncle Pete DeCola, Aunt Leanne DeCola and numerous cousins and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Ogletree's HCS: Della, Jackie, Terrie, Margaret, Mrs. Ogletree, Mrs Rogers and all the other care-givers who became a part of her family
