Amanda Lynn Gonzalez

Amanda graduated from Hargrave High School. She met James Gonzalez in Ganado, Texas and the two married on March 10, 2005. With this union, Amanda and James had three beautiful children. Her passions included spending quality time with her family and friends and greatest joy was taking care of her children. Amanda worked as an executive assistant for The Tracy Montgomery Team for five years. All who came to know Amanda will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by grandfather, Sidney Anderson Jr.; father Robert Colbert; dad Larry Love; and sister-in law, Diane Gonzalez.

Amanda is survived by her loving husband, Jaime Gonzalez; daughters Addyson and Sydnee Gonzalez; son, Damian Gonzalez; mother, Terry Love; sisters, Kimberly Young and husband Ronald, and Ruth Love; grandmother, Martha Anderson; uncle, Mark Anderson; aunt, Kathy Anderson; nieces and nephews: Zoe, Jade, Drake, Jr, Reyna, Ethan, Tyler, Jasmine, Aeris, Jada, Emma, Hannah, Sophie, Andrew, Jaxson; mother-in-law, Alicia Piedra; brother-in-laws, Jose Gonzalez and wife Marissa, Manuel Gonzalez and wife Sara; sister-in-law, Juanita Gonzalez; uncle Keith Colbert and wife Rhonda; and many cousins.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jose Gonzalez, Manuel Gonzalez, Jr Gonzalez, Ron Young, Alfred Peña, Ethan Gonzalez and honorary pallbearers, Michael Lucas Currier, Mark Anderson, Caleb Anderson and Jacob Anderson.

A visitation for Amanda will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 2:30 PM, in the Grand Chapel at Brookside followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
