Althea Mae Ezell

Althea received her G.E.D. from San Jacinto College. She had a career in Customer Service at Auto Zone for 24 years. Althea was a member of Auxilliary VFW and had a passion for shopping and grandchildren.

Althea was a very loving mother and grandmother, who never met a stranger. She always reached out to help others less fortunate.

Althea is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Ezell; three sons, Stanley and Kirt Lawrence, and John Williamson.

Left to cherish her memories are her two sisters, Irene and Isabelle; five children to include, Violet Smith and husband Jason Smith. Several grandchildren to include, Jacob Knox, Nolan Smith, Danielle Hutchinson. Numerous great grandchildren, to include Collin Knox, Caleb Knox, Coby Knox, Cora Knox, Charlie Hutchinson, Katelynn Hammer and Kaleb Hutchinson.

Pallbearers are Jacob Knox, Collin Knox, Justin Meeks, and Hugo Hernandez.

A visitation for Althea will be held Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM with the graveside service to follow at Brookside Memorial Park.
