Allen Martin, Jr. “Tim”, of Richmond, Texas, passed away January 25th, 2020. He was born in New York City, New York, on September 13, 1928. Tim graduated from Amherst College where he received his BS degree in Physics.
He was married to Lois Blakey Martin on March 5, 1982.
Tim served as a Captain in the United States Air Force from 1950 through 1954 and again in the reserves. Tim’s career was in Chemical Sales and Laboratory Equipment sales. He also worked in the financial services field. He loved all sports either watching or playing, but his passion was baseball. He also enjoyed reading and watching old western movies. Tim was a member of The Fellowship and loved his church family. He genuinely enjoyed greeting each and every person on Sunday mornings. His heartfelt mission was to soften hearts so the time there with God was a joyous and happy occasion.
He is survived by his wife, Lois, and his five children, Linda Bowerman, Debra Godbold, Thomas Martin, Erin Thomas and Blake Martin. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren,
The memorial service and celebration of his life will be at 3:00pm Sunday, February 9th, 2020, at The Fellowship, 22765 Westheimer Parkway, Katy, TX 77450.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the American Cancer Society or The Fellowship Ranch.
