He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother Margarito "Ray" Aguilar and sisters Paula Pacheco and Ofelia Bahena.
He is survived by his siblings Maria de Jesus Salazar, Francisco Aguilar and Liodoro Aguilar; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
