Al has guided so many at work and helped whomever he could. He well be greatly missed and his contribtuins will carry onward.

Albert had an easy going way that made it a pleasure to be friends with him. He shared most everything he had with his friends. At work, a lot of experiments may not have been realized without his knowledge and skill in drafting, machining, and overall experiment design. Every time I come to SDR the place just seems emptier without him around. I’m sure the friends who left comments about Albert on this web page are just a small portion of the many people he has affected for the better.

Albert was an amazing colleague and friend. Always chill, always ready to have fun and make you smile! In his unassuming way, Al was a great mentor to many young scientists and interns in the lab, meaningfully touching lives and helping grow so many of them. Al was a great cook (unofficial SDR cheesecake king), he readily shared his genuine joy of life, his passion for golf, fishing, Surfside beach, and his ‘Vette. So many fun memories to cherish. Here is our last “Cheers, Buddy!”. We miss you. Rest In Peace.

It’s been years now since I’ve heard you shuffle down the hall talking to yourself but I can still picture you there as if it were yesterday. It’s so hard to believe you’re gone. I’ve met few people who had such a zest for life - you worked as hard as you played and lived each day to its fullest.  You always wore a smile and never missed an opportunity to have a little fun. Your laid back attitude contradicted the attention to detail bestowed upon your work, appearance, and cheesecake. You were one of a kind. I’ll always look back on the short time we had together with fondness. Al, it was an honor to know you, my friend. Rest easy.

Albert went out of his way to help members of the department. He was 100% committed to the projects and their success. He was a true friend, and was always present for you in times of need. We miss you and your smile Albert.


My only wish for my Brother is that he’s somewhere on a  Beach.   Fishing with a cold beer in his hand.  And the warm sun Shining down on him.   ❤️ U.  The Good One

My deepest sympathy and condolences to Albert’s family for the loss of Albert. Albert was a decent and honorable human being with a kind soul. He will be sorely missed.

We met Albert when Roy went to work at Schlumberger in Ridgefield 18 years ago. Since the day Albert and Roy met Albert has been like family and a frequent visitor to our home. He had a special relationship with our sons too. Albert was always on the go, a free spirit, and a loyal friend to all. He enriched our lives by introducing us to many things- professional bull riding, Texas hold- Em, country music, golf, car shows, crabbing, countless weekend outings, surf side Beach, Texas, and always teased us mercilessly. We will forever hold his memory and our love love close to our hearts.  

I met Albert when he moved to CT to join Schlumberger-Doll Research 18+ years ago or so.  He had an understated laid back exterior approach to work & life, but his mind always thinking and finding resolve.  I've missed Al since he left the lab and now he's on his journey to Heaven - GOD Bless you Al and your entire Family. XOXO, Cindy

I loved working with Albert.  He was an excellent teacher, kind, and fun.  The days I could work in the lab with him were truly some of the best of my working life.  I am so sorry to hear of his passing.  My deepest condolences to his family.

It was very fun to work with Albert.  We could be working on serious things all day but we always managed to bring laughter in the conversation when he was around.  Thinking about those favorite memories makes me feel very sad to see him go.  My heart goes out to his family.  

We will miss you, dear Albert, such a lovely person with an always positive attitude, a smart and great colleague/friend. Wish you peace and happiness in Heaven.
