He sadly passed away in a car accident that Friday. Alan was born in Kowloon, Hong Kong and at the age of 12, his parents moved their family to New Orleans, LA. Alan lived there for a large portion of his life until he made the move to Houston, TX in the late 90s. Throughout Alan's life he worked at various Asian cuisine restaurants like Japan, Cafe East, and Shogun. At the time of Alan's passing, he worked as a restaurant director for Sichuan Pepper Express. In his spare time Alan enjoyed cooking, fishing, and spending time with his family. Typically he found ways to intertwine these activities in some fashion. Alan was an extraordinary person whose remarkable spirit profoundly made the lives of those around him better.
Ten years ago Alan and his wife created a beautiful blended family. He leaves behind his family of six: Jenny Tan: wife, Marc Lee: eldest son, Michael Lee: youngest son, Rubin Tan: step son, and Elyssia Salas: step daughter. Alan also leaves behind his beloved parents: Mr. & Mrs. Lee, and two brothers: Chun Lee and Cary Lee. The sudden passing of Alan, has truly changed all of our worlds forever.
There is no way to truly convey the amount of appreciation we have for our family and friends during this time of grief. The amount of support has been overwhelming and truly heartwarming. The Tan, Lee, and Salas Family sincerely thanks you for the support.
We invite friends and family to join us in honoring and remembering the legacy of our beloved Alan Timothy Lee on June 13, 2024. The visitation services will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park, 2454 S Dairy Ashford, Houston, TX 77077, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers and other gifts, given the suddenness of Alan's passing, donations to support the family he left behind would be greatly valued and deeply appreciated.
