Billy was the first born of 2 children on April 18th, 1976, to Rachael Rita Jimenez and Abel Ramirez Sr., in Houston, Texas. Abel, better known as “Little Billy” to his family and “Dollar Bill” to all his friends in the district ward of Magnolia, East End Houston. He was a brother, cousin, uncle and well known beloved friend of the community.
Billy worked as an electrician, many warehouse jobs and other out of town occupations. He was a jack of all trades and worked hard chasing the almighty dollar. He was a person who loved his family dearly and enjoyed being with his friends on a daily basis. Billy will always be remembered for his fiery temper, stubborn ways, witty sense of humor and the extreme love he had for his mom, grandmother Hope, sister and nephews. As a child, Billy always had a sense of adventure and wild imagination. He used to love climbing trees, riding his bike throughout the neighborhood, having sleepovers at his cousin’s houses and spending lots of time with his grandmother Hope. After losing his mother Rachael in 2008, Billy was never really the same. He had many struggles and obstacles to overcome but managed to do the best he could in all aspects of his life.
Billy is preceded in death by his mother, Rachael Rita Jimenez; father, Abel Ramirez Sr.; grandmother, Hope Jimenez; grandfather, Richard M. Jimenez; Ramirez grandparents; and a few cousins, aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his sister, Carrie Jimenez; nephews, Nathaniel and Henry; aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
Billy will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He is now at peace and was greeted in the loving arms of his doting mother Rachael, father Abel, and many family members at the gates of heaven.
