A public viewing will be conducted from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Reaping the Harvest International Church, 5123 Dauphine Street, New Orleans, LA, 70117. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
He is survived by his companion, Sharon Robinson Gibson; sons, George and Shannon Robinson (Gretchen); daughters, Gasha Jones and Shameka Brown (Ben); eight grandchildren, Brennon, Brenna, Bailey, Shannon, Jr., Charles, III., and Gedore; two great grandchildren, Macie and Cobra; brothers, Rosene, Curtis, Rex, Reginald, Marvin, Otis, Jr., Darryl, Sr., Reginald, Sr. Kevin, Sr. Byant, and Trenton; sisters, Dorothy, Suerina, Yolanda, Hilary, Candice, Toya, Tammy and Kourtney; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Earsene Gibson; sisters, Kim Gibson, Javetta Moore; brother, perry Gibson; and grandparents.
