Gail Marie Veal

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Beautiful Zion Baptist Church in Houma on Saturday, April 6, 2024, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the service at 12:00 p.m.

Gail is survived by her dedicated and devoted husband, Leon M. Veal, Jr.; her daughters, Jada R. Porter and Dawn N. Campbell (devoted daughter-in-law, Tileeia); her sons, Guy Campbell, Sr. (devoted daughter-in-law, Hernicka), Roderick Butler and Leon G. Veal (devoted daughter-in-law, Tonya); her sister, Karen A. Lewis; twenty-five grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and loyal friends.

Gail was preceded in death by her father, Burl Anderson; her mother, Emma Mae Reed Gauthier; her brothers, Edward and James Anderson; her daughter, Sheryl A. Veal; three sons, Jeon Melvin Veal, Leon M. Veal, III, and Robert Lee Veal; her grandchildren, Jaquan Veal, Leon M. Veal, IV, and Gerald Dawson.
