Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on July 6, 2024 at Triumph Baptist Church 6313 Bayou Black Dr., Gibson, LA 70356. Burial will follow in the Triumph Baptist Church Cemetery.

Dynell (Dino) Stewart a native of Gibson, LA and a resident of St. Martinville passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 5:41 PM. at his home in St. Martinville, LA. Dynell was a U.S Army Veteran & Freemason.

He is survived by his father, Joseph Stewart Jr. and his mother, Betty Jean Pharr, his sons, Dynell II (Anysha), QuaShaun (Lauren), Keywaun & Keyshaun Stewart, and son/stepson, Chris Roland granddaughter, Harlynn Stewart, brother, Lawrence Givens Jr.; godbrother, John Ward Jr.; sisters, Roxanne Oladipo, Natascha Givens, Tanya Givens and stepsister, Stephanie Givens, aunts, Otis Shelvin, Gloria (James) Clay, Jeannie Stewart, Eartha Johnson, Rosetta Stewart, Penny Kennedy and Maria Ward, uncles, Mark, Paul and Dwayne Pharr; ex-wife and mother of his children, Ophelia Roland, father -in -law, Lonnie Sr., mother -in- Law, Theola Roland, godmother, Janice Pharr. god daughter, September Williams.

The family would like to thank Home Instead and his caregivers, Idara Martin and Rasheka Ducro for their support during the time of Dynell’s illness and his transition from his earthly home.

Dynell was preceded in death by his brother, David Givens, nephew, Darius Stewart, one great-niece, stepfather, Lawerece Givens Sr. and aunt Maxine Pharr, maternal grandparents, Elton, Sr. and Josephine Diggs Pharr; maternal uncles, Charles, Arnold, Perry, Ronnie and Elton Pharr Jr.; maternal, great-grandparents, David and Georgiana Pharr; maternal great-grandparents, Wilmer and Chestnola Diggs, fraternal uncles, Roosevelt (Rooster) and Michael (Uncle Nick) Stewart, aunts, Vivian Young and Christine Stewart; grandparents, Joseph Sr. and Rosetta Stewart, great- grandparents, Oliver Sr. and Christiana Winn Ballard, great-grandparents, James(Jim)Sr. and Lydia Woods Stewart, and a host of family members and friends.
