Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until funeral time. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Jones Funeral Home,
240 South Hollywood Rd.,Houma, LA.70360. Burial will follow in New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
Daryle pursued his education in Terrebonne Parish and graduated from South Terrebonne High School in 1978, later attending Nicholls State University.
Daryle had a deep love for comic books, karate, music, and superhero movies, earning him the title of the” Family’s Superhero.” He played the guitar exceptionally well, showcasing his musical talent. His humor, shone through in his love for telling jokes, practicing karate moves on family members, and bringing joy and laughter to those around him.
Daryle's humility and passion for life made him a beloved and unforgettable presence. He will forever be remembered as a kind-hearted individual and jokester by all who were fortunate to know him.
Daryle leaves behind his beloved mother Heloise L. Howard, siblings Simon Howard Jr. (Deborah), Clyde Howard (Dionne), Cheryl Howard, Carla Howard, and Mary H. Wallace (Rick), along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Simon Howard Sr., maternal grandparents , James Sr. and Amanda Gray Lewis, paternal grandparents, Simon Howard and Mary White Howard.
