Roscoe Robert Jones, 93, of Hot Springs passed away on December 26, 2017. He was born on January 24, 1924 in Ulm, Arkansas to the late Robert and Minnie Jones. After serving in the Navy during WWII Roscoe worked for Bishop Construction. He then went on to work in the rice mills; first at Comet Rice Mill in Stuttgart and then worked many years at Riviana Foods where he retired from the Carlisle plant as Superintendent. After retiring he moved to Hot Springs where he devoted much of his time and energy volunteering at First Lutheran Church. Roscoe was fortunate enough to share his life with two loves, both of whom preceded him in death; his first love and wife, Polly Jones and second wife, Adele Jones. Also meeting him in Heaven is his son, Tony Jones; brother, Gerald Jones and sister, Lida Carty. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Robin Jones Wilson; grandson, Casey Wilson; great grandchildren, Tyler, Austin and Emily Wilson; brother, Kelly Jones; sisters, Patsy Hisaw and Gloria Ferrara.
