Max was a very honest, caring, loving man.  One of the best you will meet in a lifetime.  
He earned my respect over the years we knew each other and I his.
He will be missed by many as well as loved by more.
Rest in peace dear man.  You are in good hands now.

Max was an Amazing Man.  I had the privilege of meeting Max only for one weekend, but it was the most amazing few days of my life, aside from when my children were born.  
Max was a No Nonsense guy. He told you How the Cow ate the Cabbage and NEVER sugar coated it.  I loved that about him.  You never had to wonder what he was thinking. You Knew. 
 I was told, right before coming to meet him by Terri, his wife, that When Max hugs you; you will know you have been hugged. She was right.   I have never been hugged like that in my life. 
 Just in the few days I got to spend with him I learned so much about him.  
Max was a very caring man, tough, funny, and in his earlier days (not saying his Younger Days, because he was still very young at heart and mind at the age of 63) up for anything.  
He was a modest man.  He did so many things in his life, so good at Many, but Never looked for applause, recognition or attention.  
He made choices in his life that were for the benefit of someone else and not necessarily the benefit for him or what he really wanted.    
He did and does deserve so much for all that he did in his life.  
Max, we all know you are up above looking down and thinking OH My What are they doing now? And we know you are up there thinking, Just give me a few seconds to run down and tell them Get Out of My Drive Way, I don't care what you have to say, what you are preaching or what you are trying to sell me!'    
Rest in Peace Max, you are loved and missed by Many.

He is at peace. Thanks for your service to our country. Thanks for the help many times over as a fellow hunter at Corinth deer camp.

Terri, Kathy just shared the news with me of your husband's death.  Even though I did not know him, I do you and my heart goes out to you during your time of loss.  I think of you often and will now be praying you find comfort in your friends and family during this sad time.

Charlotte.... I was sadden to read about Max's passing.  He loved life and lived it to the fullest.  I will always have fond memories of him.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family......

I am sorry for your lose.  Max and I had many wonderful times at the deer camp for over 40 years.  I will miss h dearly.

Even though we are miles apart and seldom see each other, Max has always been one of my best friends. Oh the memories I have of Max growing up as teenagers, we had some great times. Go rest high on that mountain dear friend.

I'm so glad I got to know Max because he was one of a kind. Many good times come to mind and that's how I will always remember him. My condolences to the  family at this sad time.

My heart hurts for you Terri.  I knew Max many years. I greatly respected Max for his always being a Marine and his honor. He taught me every time i was around him. He always had a smile for every one.  I will miss you brother.

Max was a man I respected and knew for nearly 40 years. He had a passion for life and freedom. He had a very warm smile that lit up the open air outside. He served our Country with destinction, and yes part of him didn't make it stateside. He loved to hunt and being outside. For over 20 years I would call him on Independence Day to tell him thank you Max Foster for your SERVICE TO THIS COUNTRY. 
  Well today I will tell you once again, thank you for your friendship and thank you for your service. I will miss you.
