Linda was a part of the Baptist community. She loved to read her bible any chance she got and share the word. She worked as a hostess at the Hampton Inn and Abilities unlimited for 18 years before she retired. Linda was a kind and caring person. She loved to be in the kitchen cooking for her family, listening to music, doing crossword puzzles, eating her favorite chocolate candy, and she loved spending time with her dog, Precious. Linda had the brightest smile that was contagious. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren very much. Her memory will live on with the stories that are told about her. She will be missed deeply.
She is survived by her husband Bruce Parker; Children Wayne Carpenter (Wayne Ellis), Sheila Reeves (Mike), Kaye Clem (Ronnie), Connie Bane (Mike), Vicky Brocker (Scott), Debbie Thornton, and Tim Carpenter (Natasha); Siblings Clarence Rucker, Marion Rucker, Mike Rucker, Brenda Ashmore, Steve Rucker, Joe Rucker, Becky Jackson, and Donna Grisso; 16 Grandchildren; and 12 Great Grandchildren.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents; Brother Roger Rucker; Sister Barbra Rucker; and Grandson Tre` Williams.
Pallbearers include Clarence Rucker, Mike Rucker, Joe Rucker, Steve Rucker, Keith Rucker, and Wyatt Fowler.
A visitation will be held at Gross Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 8:30am with a Funeral Service to start at 9:30 am. A burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Hot Springs, AR. Guests may register at www.GrossFuneralHome.com.
