Brenda Kay Walker, 73, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021.
She was born December 29, 1948 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to the late Ernest & Geneva (Duke) Walker, and was a graduate of Hot Springs High School. At the age of 21 Brenda enlisted in the U.S. Navy. While serving she became a Radiologist, which became her life long career, along with teaching radiology at National Park Community College. She was an active member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
One year Brenda and her friends took a vacation to Alaska. When she returned to Hot Springs, she sold her house and moved to Bethel, Alaska where she worked for many years. The town was so remote that the only way in was by plane.
Brenda was a loving sister to Ernestine Roper and Charles Walker, and a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews.
