William Ray Tyler Sr.

William Ray Tyler, Sr, age 64 born November 8, 1959 in Lumberton, North Carolina. He graduated from Douglas Byrd High School in 1979. William was a beloved son, father, grandfather, uncle and brother of Fayetteville, North Carolina (Massey Hill). He sadly left our world on September 23, 2024, a life richly lived in service and kindness. William is known for playing all sports with is favorite sport being baseball. During William career, he was a car salesman. Touching lives through all the joy that he has bought throughout the years.

Preceded in death by his father, William Tyler (Pete); two sisters Brenda Tyler and Loretta Lynn Tyler; a brother Raymond Tyler. He leaves a legacy through his mother Lillian Tyler Hard, his sisters Elizabeth Pickett, Latasha Tyler; his Brother Jeff Tyler; his son William Tyler Jr, and grandson Abel Watts, all of Fayetteville, NC. A friend Barbara Johnson and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends. William’s memory will be a guiding star for all who knew him.
