Margaret Onieta Wilcoxen

Margaret was born on July 2, 1952 to Fenimore and Mary Frances Batton. She spent her entire life in Cumberland County. She enjoyed sitting on her front porch, watching hummingbirds, and enjoying her koi pond. Her favorite time was spent with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, James Wilcoxen, her parents, Fenimore and Mary Frances Batton; her sisters, Linda Ann Gagnon, Deborah Jean Stump, and June Ray Batton. She is survived by her life companion, Robert Allen Signor; her children, Dana VanValkenburg (Craig), Brandion Wilcoxen (Carey), and Toni Holloway (Fred); her brother, Fenimore Batton (Buddy); her grandchildren, Justin, Kelsey, Jessica, Michael, John Brandion, Sara Jane, Jacklyn, Mickayla, Kayla, Kyli, Skylar, Leah Rae, Camron, and Amber; 18 great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She will also be deeply missed by her “fur-greats”.

A visitation with family & friends for Margaret will be held Thursday, October 31, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 3308 N Main St, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348. A memorial service will occur Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 1:00 PM, 3308 N Main St, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348. An inurnment will occur Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery, 2881 Gillespie St, Fayetteville, North Carolina.
