Born January 17, 1950 to Duff and Ila Mae Turlington. Donna is the middle daughter of three children. Her older brother Milton and younger brother Gary Turlington. Donna is loved, remembered, and survived by Gary and several generations of family and communities. She was born with a song in her heart and a dance in her step. Donna enriched and brightened the lives of all whom she has touched with her beautiful soul. Daughter, wife and star of the show to sky kings Duff Turlington creator of Duff's Aircraft Services and legendary fighter pilot & painter Harold Reavis, Donna adored the stage and spotlight of theater as known by so many at Fort Bragg Playhouse and Cape Fear Regional Theater. Donna's light continued to shine brighter as she lit up stages with children of her beloved Countryside Performing Arts School in Cedar Creek. She captivated listeners and lovers of Bluegrass and Americana with her Jamborees and radio show the Countryside Bluegrass Jamboree. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder some may say, for Donna, Margie and Patti, it was on the faces of every child that graced the stages of Tri Star pageants. Beauty for Donna was manifested in all she created. Keeping in tune with her reach for the stars attitude in life she lifted up the lives of quite countless men, women, children and patriots of her forever home North Carolina in her forever treasured these Amazing United States.
