I still remember the time Christine showed up at the Okinawan Festival several years ago. She continuously laughed as she described all the many treatments and surgeries she undergo. I’ll always remember her positivity and contagious laughter. I know Christine is always watching over us.❤️

My condolences to Fred, Ren and the Ishikawa Family. Chris and I met when the kids were in kindergarten and had a really beautiful friendship. Chris is a beautiful, generous and loving soul and was one of the strongest people I’ve known.  We had  recently reconnected and I was able to have a few lunches with her with the last one being in July. I will miss my soul sister very deeply.

I am SO saddened to hear the news of Christine's passing.  My heart is broken.  I worked with you both at St. Rose Siena back in the 90's.  I had been in touch with her over the years.  She was a GREAT nurse and friend.   I was at the baby shower for Ren and have fond memories of her.  May God rest her soul.

I had the pleasure of working with Christine at St Rose Hospital in L&D in Henderson NV. I am so sad to hear of her passing. My condolences, prayers and love go out to her family and friends. She was a beautiful person, a great nurse and an awesome friend. Christine is all the more reason to live life to the fullest as she did. I love you girl, your memories will live on .

I am so sorry to hear of Christine's passing.  I had the pleasure of working closely with her at St. Rose de Lima Hospital in Henderson, Nevada, and the honor of being her nurse when her daughter was born.  I enjoyed all of her Faceboook posts that were always so humorous.  RIP Christine.

I never met Christine in person, but she made a lasting impression with her presence in the Tom Bihn Facebook Group. She was such a warm and full of joy person, and her comments always made me smile. She will be dearly missed, may she rest in peace. Wishing the family much strength and let her memory always make you smile.

I didn’t know Christine well, we’d only interacted through our shared love of Tom Bihn bags on Facebook but, even in our small corner of the internet, Christine was a ray of sunshine. She was always a joy to chat with and brought so much fun and happiness to the group. She will be greatly missed by her online friends as she will by all those who knew her. I knew Christine through her presence in the Tom Bihn group on Facebook, and she was such an amazing person to chat with about bags, Hawaii, and life in general. I was just thinking of her the other day, and today another member shared the news of her passing. Rest assured the bags she loved so much and sold within the group went to good homes, including mine. She will be missed.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Christine, but we shared many conversations. She knew I was/am going through my own health crises and when I posted in our mutual Tom Bihn group that I was sad I couldn’t get my hands on Alphaviolet Pop Tote to use as a hospital bag, she contacted me and sold me hers. She was the kindest soul of a person I never met in person even though I was an island over at that time. She will be greatly missed and I will cherish the bag she sent me always!! My deepest condolences to you, her family and friends.

I never had the good fortune to meet Christine in person, but we belonged to the Tom Bihn Facebook group family. Christine always exuded humor, happiness, and positivity in her posts, and we had some fun exchanges over our love of color in Tom Bihn fabrics. We all looked forward to posts from Christine! I knew Christine only from the Tom Bihn fan group on Facebook. Her words were always funny, smart, kind, and warm. I'm so sad her light is gone. My condolences to her family and friends. May you find peace amongst one another. I am sorry for your loss.

I am Katherine Lane’s youngest sister Valerie.  It is with a heavy heart to know Christine’s family and close friends have to endure such a great loss.  I know she was my sister’s best friend and my sister often talked about the wonderful friend and person Christine was and the great times they had together.  I hope her warm smile and passion for others remain in those that she touched for years to come.  I believe although not here  at your side Christine  will be watching over all those she cared for.

I will cherish the wonderful memories I have with Christine. She has been a friend that has always got my back, from working together at Kapiolani, then at Tripler and at the Okinawan Festival. Thankful for the time we spent together in April and for this beautiful haku. Christine’s smile and infectious laugh will always be remembered. May she rest in peace.❤️

Chris and I met when she started working at Kapiolani as a young nurse. I was her preceptor and we hit it off immediately. That was the start of a 30 year friendship. We had so many good times together and we shared some of the challenging times too as good friends do. 
I count myself so fortunate to  have known Chris and her family.  She was a remarkable woman who brought such tremendous joy and life to everything she did.
