Shirley Ann Bonta

Shirley Ann Bonta, 79, of Homosassa, FL. passed away on Nov. 8, 2012. A native of Gary, IN, she was born Dec. 23, 1932 to Desidarius and Ann (Felber) Bottos, one of two children. Shirley was a retired loan clerk for U.S. Steel Sheet and Tin Federal Credit Union in Gary, IN and moved from Crown Point, IN to Homosassa 18 years ago. Mrs. Bonta was a parishioner of St. Benedict's Catholic Church, Crystal River, FL and was an avid reader and loved to play cards with friends. Shirley is survived by her husband of 62 years, Domenic Bonta, Homosassa, FL; son David Anthony Bonta (Sharon), Homosassa, FL; son Ricky Robert Bonta (Maxine), Portage, IN; daughter Lori Lynn Walsko (Chuck), Trinity, FL; son Anthony Allen Bonta, Indianapolis, IN; daughter Sharon Denise Gray (Bill), Green Bay, WI; brother David Bottos (Cass), Monticello, IN; grandchildren Jason, Hannah, Danny, Joshua, James, Denise, Aaron, Kyle, Courtney, Kevin and Julie and great grandchildren Jacob, Michael, Christina, Bo, Benjamin, Katelyn, Leah and Molly. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bonta was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Danielle. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on the morning of Tues., Nov. 13th at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, Crystal River, FL with Fr. Ryszard Stradomski, Celebrant. The time has yet to be determined. Interment will be private. Friends will be received on Mon., Nov. 12th from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, FL www.wilderfuneral.com.
