Robert C. Firminger, 95, of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Thurs., Dec. 7, 2023 at HCA Florida Citrus Hospital in Inverness, FL. A native of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, he was born May 6, 1928 to Charles and Lilian (Morley) Firminger, one of four children. Bob, as he was known to many, was the former owner and operator of R.G. Howe, LTD in Canada; a supplier of fine kitchenware. He moved to Homosassa in 2003 from N. Truro, MA on Cape Cod and was a faithful and devoted parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Homosassa since arriving here. A perfect day for Mr. Firminger would be good day in the stock market, as he was an active day trader, and Bob also loved traveling and camping during his life. He was a Lifetime member of the Canadian Professional Sales Association and in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret and son Michael, as well as his sisters Gladys, Hazel and Myrtle. Bob is survived by his sons David (wife Susan); Robert (wife Patricia) and Timothy (wife Kate); grandchildren Leah Feddema (Marvin), Brent Firminger (Valerie), Colin Firminger (Alexandra) and Rachael Firminger; great grandchildren Eden and Tanner Feddema and Beau Firminger; a daughter-in-law Donna Taylor and his loving companion Janet Figlioli. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Fri., Jan. 12, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Homosassa, with Fr. J. Glenn Diaz, Celebrant. Interment will be private.
