MaryLou "Lou" "Lou" Lopez

MaryLou “Lou” (Ridley) Schiller Lopez, 79, of Homosassa, FL and formerly of Farmington Hills, MI, passed away on Sun., Nov. 16, 2014 at Oak Hill Hospital, Brookville, FL. A native of London, Ontario, Canada, she was born March 7, 1935 to William John Lenard and Marjorie M. (Fritz) Ridley, one of four children. Lou, as she was known to many, moved from Windsor, Ontario, CN in the mid 1950’s to Detroit. Ten years ago, she moved to Homosassa from Brevard County, FL, where she had held residences in both Cocoa Beach and Rockledge. Her professional career was highlighted by the ownership of her own Tupperware franchise, Action Party Sales, Inc., for over 30 years. Mrs. Lopez was a member of St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church, Crystal River, FL. She is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, Dominic “Danny” Lopez, Homosassa; six children: Paul Schiller, Dearborn Heights, MI; Nancy Brewer (husband Grant), Canton, MI; Dominic Lopez, Palm Springs, CA; Janet Urban (husband Stan), W. Bloomfield, MI; Linda Penzabene (husband Joey), Pleasant Ridge, MI and Mary Pat Banks (husband Dave), Fayetteville, GA: brother Harold Ridley (wife Janette), Milton, Ontario, CN; sister Shirley Ann Hudson, Dryden, MI; grandchildren Robin, Brian, Ryan, Joseph, Adam, Alex, Trey, Katie, William, Nicholas and Valentina: great grandchildren Lily, Madilyn Grace and Dalton and sister-in-law Doris Ridley, Pickering, Ontario, CN. In addition to her parents, MaryLou was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children Paul and Nancy, the late Walter A. “Wally” Schiller; a daughter-in-law, the late Laura Schiller; a brother, the late William John Lenard “Bill” Ridley and a brother-in-law, the late Charles M. Hudson. A memorial service will be held on Thurs., Nov. 20, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. from St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church, 1070 N. Suncoast Blvd., Crystal River, FL 34429 with Pastor Robert “Chip” Salzgeber officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church.
