Mark David Reynolds, 54, of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Thurs., April 11, 2024 at Tampa General Hospital Crystal River in Crystal River, FL. He was born Dec. 17, 1969 in Tampa, FL, to Ronald and Rosan (Kozlowski) Reynolds, and moved to Homosassa over 10 years ago from his native Tampa. An avid outdoorsman, Mark’s perfect day would involve being out on the water fishing or in the woods hunting, followed by cooking a big dinner and spending the evening with his family, his friends and his dogs. He was affectionately known as a “member of the church of the woods and the water”, which is where he and his wife Carrie felt the closest to nature. Mr. Reynolds was a member of the Tall Tines Hunting Club of Eufaula, Alabama. In addition to his paternal grandparents Crawford and Leeta Reynolds and his maternal grandparents John and Phyllis Kozlowski, Mark was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Emalee Grace Reynolds, on Aug. 12, 2003. He is survived by his loving wife Carolynn “Carrie” Herrell, Homosassa, FL; children Caraline “Turtle” Reynolds, Inglis, FL and Augustus “Augi” Reynolds, Reddington, Beach, FL; stepson Carl Agresta, North Carolina; stepson Wayne McCune, Colorado; stepdaughters Heather McCune and Chrissie Rogers, both of Tampa, FL; his parents Ronald and Rosan Reynolds, Biloxi, MS; sister Kimberly Henderson, also of Biloxi, MS, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
