Darlene Crump

Darlene Crump, 66, born in Brooksville, Florida and a lifelong resident of Lecanto, passed away on Mon., Nov. 8, 2021 at Bayfront Health Seven Rivers in Crystal River. She was born March 18, 1955 to Wade and Juanita (Maddox) Langley, one of five children. Darlene enjoyed a long 22 year career as a school bus driver with the Citrus County School System taking children to Lecanto Primary School, retiring in 2019. A perfect day for Darlene may revolve around her attending rodeos to see two of her grandchildren, Logan and Ryleigh, compete in any number of events, including team roping and barrel racing or riding four wheelers with her other two grandchildren, Sadie and Emma. Mrs. Crump is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, John “Buddy” Crump, Lecanto; son Ethan Crump, Red Level, FL; daughter Kaitlin Shuttleworth, Lecanto; grandchildren Logan and Ryleigh Crump of Red Level and Sadie and Emma Shuttleworth of Lecanto; brothers Marty Langley, Deland, FL and Bill Langley (wife Rachael), Lecanto and their children Misty, Ryan and Clay; and sisters Harriett Langley, Ocala, FL and Teri Campbell (husband Bill), St. Cloud, FL, and their children Wade and Kaylee.
