Virginia Meek Martin passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020 and is now and forever with her savior Jesus Christ. She worked in banking and insurance for many years in the Birmingham area. She was a member of Saks Baptist Church in Alexandria, AL. Virginia loved being a member of Mid-Alabama Corvette Club, where she enjoyed raising money for charities. She will always be remembered as a giving person. She was preceded in death by 1 sister and 3 brothers survived by 1 brother and 2 sisters.
Virginia is survived by her loving husband Lonnie Martin and her children JoLynn, Sam and Rhonda Alexander; her grandchildren: Dannika, Blake, Peighton and Jordan; her great grandchildren: Italy, Joseph and Caleb. And by so many precious friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Ridout’s Valley Chapel from 11:00 until 12 noon with the funeral service following at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers memorials in memory of Virginia Martin may be made to your favorite charity.
