Robert Reecie Howard

Robert Reecie Howard age 83 of Vincent, AL passed away November 25,2016. Mr. Howard is survived by the love of his life Nell Howard and they were married 65 years, one son Mike Howard ( Melinda) and daughter Pam Valenti ( Derek), his brothers and sisters, Sharon Watkins, Tommy Howard (Janet), Ralph Howard (Janis) , and Calvin Howard (Brenda). He is also survived by his grandchildren Michael Howard, Julie Lawson, Jeffrey Howard, Emma Duplechain, and Brandon Howard., he is also survived by his great grandchildren Chloe Lawson, Alexis Lawson, Lucas Duplechain,, Kelsey Howard, and Sophie Duplechain.

Robert was a longtime sheetrock contractor he was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved to spend time gardening, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. On of Mr. Howards favorite pastimes was fishing with his grandson Brandon at Logan Martin Dam. He was a volunteer at his church, Sterrett Church of God of Prophecy where he was known for his ability to fix just about anything not only did he volunteer at the church but he would help anyone that asked him for help.

A funeral service for Mr. Howard will be Sunday, Nov. 27,2016 at the Sterrett Church of God of Prophecy at 2:30 PM, There will be a time of visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest that donations be made to Mary Starke Harper Center in Tuscaloosa, AL.
