Brookdale University Park in Homewood from natural causes. Jeannette, who was born and raised in Birmingham, graduated from Woodlawn High School.
Her great love was theater, and she performed for many years in over thirty theater and musical productions in Birmingham, including The Odd Couple, ‘Night Mother, Paint Your Wagon, and Cabaret at UAB Town and Gown Theater; The Music Man, My Fair Lady, Mame, and Carousel at Birmingham Summerfest; and The Lion in Winter, The Importance of Being Earnest, Breaking the Silence, and The Oldest Profession at Birmingham Festival Theatre.
She loved to sing and laugh and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Florene Fay Mitchell Wood; husband, Cyril Vaughn Stelzenmuller; and daughter, Jane Margaret Stelzenmuller. She is survived by her two sons, William Michael Adams and James Wood Stelzenmuller.
A graveside service for Jeannette will be held on Friday the 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Elmwood
Cemetery.
